The RKDF University, Bhopal has been established by AYUSHMATI EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SOCIETY, BHOPAL on 19th July, 2011 at Airport Bypass road, Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal. The University is spread on 55 acres lush green land with beautiful landscape, full of trees and flowers. The University has vision to foster prosperity and sustainable physical environment to improve the lives of millions through skill and knowledge by establishing an educational institution of excellence. Its mission is to provide quality education and research facilities by establishing ‘Center of Excellence’ to produce dynamic and innovative professionals with skills and knowledge, positive attitude and ethical values for socio-economic development of the people.
The University offers academic programmes in Applied Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Paramedical Courses, Biotechnology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Education, Journalism and Mass Communication, Hotel Management and Catering, Agriculture Home Science, Commerce and Business Management, Entrepreneurship Development up to PhD level. It also aims to provide education in vocational subjects for self employment to needy people who are not in a position to pursue higher education due to various constraints. Besides class-room teaching and practicals, the University interacts with research institutions and other National and foreign universities of repute to improve the quality of education. Quality of teachers is regularly upgraded by motivating them to participate in refresher courses and to attend foreign training. Specific lectures are organized on advance topics from the research institutions and industries to help the students to broaden their scientific and technological knowledge in recent developments in science and technology. The University regularly organizes personality development training and counseling with industries which helps the students to seek job opportunities in scientific institutions and in industries. The University has spacious class-rooms, well-equipped laboratories, computer center with internet connectivity and spacious computerized library.
